EU member state
Austria VAT
Austria charges 20% standard VAT. Two reduced rates, 10% and 13%, cover everyday supplies such as food, books, passenger transport, and some cultural admissions. The 13% rate also serves as Austria’s parking rate for certain supplies that pre-date the current reduced-rate rules. Invoices between Austrian businesses show UID numbers, and intra-EU B2B services generally fall under the reverse charge.
