RateNest

Legal

Terms of use

RateNest helps you calculate and invoice. It does not file your VAT return and it is not your adviser.

By creating an account or using the public tools you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The operator may refuse or close an account that abuses the rate limits, probes other people’s data, or uses the service to send fraudulent invoices.

The tools

VAT rates, the reverse-charge guide, and invoice totals are produced from data and rules in the application. They can be wrong for your supply, your region, or a rate that changed yesterday. You are responsible for the invoices you send and the tax you charge. Pro features are a convenience, not a representation that a PDF meets every country’s e-invoicing law.

Plans

The free plan has the limits shown on the pricing page. Pro is $19 per month or $149 per year, paid in advance. Stripe subscriptions renew until you cancel in the billing portal. Bitcoin payments cover the period an administrator or BTCPay confirms. Failure to pay returns the account to the free limits. Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it.

Your content

You keep the rights to your invoices, logos, and client lists. You give the operator permission to store and display them so the service can function. Do not upload a logo you do not have the right to use.

Liability

The service is provided with reasonable care and without a warranty that it will be uninterrupted or fit for a particular filing. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for lost profit, penalties, or interest that follow from a rate or a place-of-supply result. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Referrals and teams

Referral links credit the referring account for operator-defined rewards only when stated on the pricing or account page. Team invites grant editors access to the owner’s studio; the owner remains responsible for invoices issued under that account.

Acceptable use

Do not use RateNest to spam, scrape other accounts, bypass rate limits, or generate invoices you know to be false. The operator may suspend access and delete abusive content.
